TSA still groping kids…and drug testing them via Boston.com

The TSA responded in the article:

According to an e-mail from Ann Davis, public affairs manager for the TSA, Northeast Region, “TSA does not drug test air travelers. We screen passengers for dangerous weapons and explosives. I realize the mother of this little girl speculates that we’re going to test her for drugs, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.”

I love how, apparently, the only thing wrong with this scene is that the we might mistakenly believe that the TSA screens for drugs. “TSA: Bring your drugs, just not your children.”

The political discussion of Planned Parenthood has not exactly been characterized by accuracy, with Senator Jon Kyl setting the standard last week when he said that abortion made up “over 90%” of what the organization does, a line his staff said later was “not intended” to be “factual.”

It’s hard to believe they even care about abortion. The Republican health plan is really “don’t get sick unless you have money.”
